This day long session gives particpants a feel of the actual selection process by simulation of its major aspects. Its highly interactive and introspective modules guide them out of their comfort zones to develop greater confidence and interpersonal skill. It also helps students understand the requirements of the workplace and the profile of the ideal new employee.
Often students miss out on career opportunities because they fear the selection, or elimination, process that stands between their education and employment. Often, they just lack an understanding of how recruitment works. This situation can be reversed if they are completely aware of the opportunities and pitfalls of the process, and have sufficient practice.
Organisations too often complain about how unemployable graduating students today are. Often this too is just because students cannot understand and evaluate the needs of the organisation to present the best possible fit.
The Campus Placement Orientation Workshop is our effort to help graduating students present themselves to the best of their ability, thus satisfying the needs of the industry for bright young minds to take the economy forward.
The possibilities are limitless.
