Intraorganisation Protocol

This intervention helps to streamline the flow of information within the organisation. It eliminates inefficiency, redundancy and miscommunication.

Description

Participants of this Professional Development Workshop understand

  • when sending email / making calls is necessary, appropriate or even unacceptable
  • their limits, when using workplace communication facilities
  • how to write effective email subject lines and bodies
  • visual components that enhance an e-mail
  • how to structure and phrase effective telephone conversations
  • the most common mistakes people make in business writing
  • who should and should not receive copies of emails
  • how to manage and archive e-mails

This intervention has a highly flexible structure and is designed in permutations to suit your needs. It is filled with in-depth discussion and case studies. Participants also perform a number of live assignments designed to maximise understanding of the principles behind efficient office communication. Thus, by defining the benchmarks and formats of information dissemination, the session lays the foundation for standardising internal communication.

Growing organisations have a large amount of internal communication, between individuals and departments. This communication is their lifeblood and can seriously jeopardise the health of the organisation if its flow is not structured in a clear and disciplined manner. Establishing a protocol of form and content in your communication can add value to your bottom line while eliminating the stress of misinterpretation, delay and the attendant firefighting.

A healthy organisation with smooth processes is an asset not only to its owners and stakeholders, but to the economy and the world at large. It brings quality to all the lives it touches.

The possibilities are limitless.
